bastards

i wonder why mediafire deleted most of the scottish bands that were on this blog, none of it was released on big labels and everything was posted with permission from bandmembers... they call us thieves for sharing music, i call them thieves for stealing and deleting my files.. mediafire and google...rot in hell motherfuckers....

  2. I know!!! and its especially frustrating cos its all our own bands, no one should tell us what to do with our own music, we didn't belong to buma-stemra, we dont have copyrights on our music precisely for this reason, its DIY, and no fucking state or business has got anything to say over the way we use/distibute our music... i still have all the missing files somewhere and i will put them back up at some point, i may just have to change the names of the files.....

    MegaUpload – Closed.
FileServe – Closing does not sell premium.
FileJungle – Deleting files. Locked in the U.S..
UploadStation – Locked in the U.S..
FileSonic – the news is arbitrary (under FBI investigation).
VideoBB – Closed! would disappear soon.
Uploaded – Banned U.S. and the FBI went after the owners who are gone.
FilePost – Deleting all material (so will leave executables, pdfs, txts)
Videoz – closed and locked in the countries affiliated with the USA.
4shared – Deleting files with copyright and waits in line at the FBI.
MediaFire – Called to testify in the next 90 days and it will open doors pro FBI

"Yes it's very true it's alot to do with the music industry getting pissed off because the artists get paid straight into there pockets on megaupload without the need for the major record labels and this is what busta rhymes stated on his twitter account that the major labels will go and make deals with giant companies with there songs but don't pay the artist a penny."

    1. the record companys are hopelessly old fashioned and in our scene have always been irrelevant...maybe we will go back to the tape trading days but they seem to forget that all the metal bands that made it big only made it big BECAUSE of tape trading, anyway, surprisingly i did get an answer from mediafire about my complaint, i dont have my files back yet, but i have a lot of free time at tbe moment so i won't give up for now... and of course the politicians support all of this, they get their $$$$$$ from big industry so there is no way that they're going to support the rights of the "little people"

    2. well, mediafire say they have no record of deleting my files and since i didn't get a DMCA notice they dont know why they would have been taken down so i'm told i can re-upload them if i want, i don't want.....enjoy downloading what's left, i'm not going to re-upload and have it disappear again
